Squads

M1 Squads is intended for children and Adults who have learnt the basics of swimming, but require technique driven sessions that also aims to increase fitness and swim stamina.  M1 squads only started a year ago and within that year the structure of the Squad group

Together with the Mounties Swim Club, our swim stars get a taste of competitive racing.   This affiliation with the club means that our swimmers train to compete against swimmers from other clubs and aim to reach levels of metropolitan, state and national competitions.

Adults’ squad consist of competent swimmers looking to further their swimming ability whether it is in preparation for masters swimming events, open water swimming events, triathlon and biathlon training and/or just to keep fit and improve their stroke technique in a relaxed environment.
